HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR CLEANSE
A juice cleanse is filled with moments that are SUPER sweet but sometimes a little…not-so-sweet, which is why we want to be as up front as possible with you. Make sure you read each of our emails so you know exactly what to expect and when.
 
What we love about juice-loving-mouth-havers is your hunger to do what is best for you, by your own definition of wellness. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, so we make it a priority to ensure that you know EVERYTHING about your Cleanse experience.
 

What a juice cleanse is NOT:

A magical liquid detox diet that is guaranteed to make you lose weight and transform your eating habits. Our bodies are incredible, which is why we don’t need to do anything drastic to remove toxins. Instead, we can rely on organs like the liver and kidneys to do most of the heavy lifting for us.
 

What a juice cleanse IS:

Your juice cleanse supports your wellness endeavours, propelling you into your journey, not carrying you through it. Cleansing alleviates gut discomfort and compacts an INCREDIBLE amount of raw fruit and vegetables into bottles of goodness, lessening your need to supplement. Post-cleansing, you will see a great benefit in your efforts alongside a balanced diet, daily movement and a good sleeping schedule.

1. THE PRE-GAME

In the lead up to a Cleanse, we recommend that you remove coffee and alcohol for at least 48 hours before your Cleanse. You may experience mild withdrawal symptoms such as headaches, which is why it’s a great idea to get on top of this change as soon as possible. Between juices, you may find a herbal tea tides you over and gives you that little oomph you need.

 

2. h2WOAH – Hydration is KEY

Water will be your BEST friend before, during, and after a Cleanse – we recommend that you begin increasing your intake now and try to maintain drinking 2.5L of water per day.

 

3. Have your people…call your people – Coordinate the Calendar

It’s a great idea to take it easy during a Cleanse, so skip out on the ultra-high-intensity-crazy-sweaty gym sessions and give your body a deserved break. You may also find a Cleanse can impact your social calendar, which means you should watch your movements over the next few days.
 

4. The Scoop on Poop…

A liquid juice cleanse, like any change to your diet, can have an impact on bathroom rituals. Everyone reacts to cleansing differently but it is common for people to experience a change at one end of the scale or the other. We don’t recommend farting too confidently. 

 

 

By the end of your Cleanse, your guts will have consumed an invaluable amount of hugely-nutritious fresh produce – GO GUTS!

In your Cleanse Box, you will receive a card with a QR Code on it. Scanning it will give you access to our VIB (Very Important Booklet). Packed with nutritional information, a profile on each juice, some encouraging words from our trusted nutritionists, and a timetable which outlines which juice you should be having (the labels on top are indicative of the order you take them in).
